Okay, this is going to sound really weird, but seeing as how noone else is posting in this community...
most of the newer kids know the horror of the senior health course (to be honest, i've already forgotten the name of it... health studies?), especially that particular period of time in the class where you start discussing all the different types of drugs and how they're horrible for you, etc., etc. being an advocate for drug legalisation, i always wanted to get in huge arguments with the people but i didn't have the information to back it up.
so, my request is that someone who's a senior right now (hell, or even a junior or sophmore... all the health classes talk about it), could you please read "saying yes in defense of drug use" (by jacob sullum) and completely school all of the health teachers on the truth about drugs, especially in regards to alcohol.
i'd do it myself but i'm kind of already graduated and the idea of sending an extremely long email to chastain just doesn't really seem as... disruptive.
